Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions define the terms under which tickets are sold. In order to purchase a ticket, it is important that you first read and understand these Terms & Conditions – you need to agree to and comply with these terms in order to buy tickets. On completing a booking, you hereby agree to these Terms & Conditions. We may make changes to these Terms & Conditions in response to the latest legal and regulatory frameworks. If changes are made, we will give you notice by posting the updated terms to our website. If you have any questions about any of these Terms & Conditions, please email us at info@davidstent.net.

1. TICKETS

All attendees need to have a valid ticket to attend the event, even children and babies.

All tickets are for single use and will be scanned upon entry. Tickets do not need to be printed off, but you will need to present your ticket QR code for scanning on arrival. This can be presented either on a paper copy or using an electronic device.

Once Tickets have been purchased, no refunds will be issued. We encourage you to transfer your ticket to friends or family if you’re unable to attend the event. Please notify us when ticket holder details change by emailing info@davidstent.net.

Student Tickets: you may be asked to validate the purchase of your Student ticket by providing a valid student ID upon arrival on site. Failure to do so, could incur additional charges to upgrade your ticket to an Adult ticket.

Please ensure you purchase your tickets before arriving on site. We cannot guarantee ticket availability on the gate.

2. GLAMPING & PRE-ERECTED TENT RENTALS

Glamping and Pre-erected tents are available for onsite ticket holders. Please note that each of these tents has a maximum number of occupants which should not be exceeded. More details on what is available can be found on our website.

Our Glamping and Pre-erected tents are provided by third party suppliers. At the end of the event, should we find any damages to your tent, we will email you with regards to the damages charge that was agreed to at time of purchase.

3. CAMPING & CARAVANS

All attendees need to purchase an ‘Onsite Event Ticket’ if you’re going to be camping, caravanning, glamping or hiring a rent-a-tent during the event. All campers must abide by our campsite rules at all times. These will be emailed out to you prior to the event.

All campers must take all their belongings away with them at the end of the event. All attendees must take all of their waste with them or place it in the refuse and recycling bins provided on site. If you are asked to make adjustments to your pitch or your site by your village host, you must comply with their request. Noise must be kept a minimum on site from the hours of 10:00 – 07:00 out of respect for other delegates and the local community. Please note that strictly no disposable BBQs or rogue bonfires are allowed on the site for the duration of the event. Proper BBQs with legs and covers (suspended off the ground) are permitted. David’s Tent asks all delegates to exercise caution when using camping stoves to limit the risk of fires. We kindly ask delegates not to bring glass products to David’s Tent.

4. RIGHT TO ADMISSION

All ticket holders must abide by these Terms & Conditions - any unacceptable behaviour will entitle us to eject you from the event.

All people under 18 must be accompanied by an adult (over 18) who is solely responsible for them for the duration of their time on site. No pets are allowed on site except for registered assistance animals.

David’s Tent reserves the right to search attendees’ bags upon entry as needed (for example, if we’re instructed to do so by the local authority). If this is the case, we ask for you to comply with searches and any inappropriate items (weapons, illegal substances, fireworks or other items we deem inappropriate) will be confiscated without compensation.

Any person in possession of illegal substances, contraband goods or offensive materials, may be refused admission or ejected. Anti-Social or dangerous behaviour will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to eject people from the event without refund or compensation.

Where we detect actions the are illegal or criminal in nature, we will report it to the police. Any acts of vandalism to the venue or any of the structures therein will result in the persons involved being evicted from site, pending future criminal and/or civil prosecution to recover the costs of the loss or damage.

5. UNAUTHORISED TRADING

No unauthorised trading is permitted anywhere on the Winston Estate during the event. We do not permit anyone to distribute flyers at the event without our explicit permission.

6. PHOTOGRAPHY FILMING & AUDIO RECORDING

No unauthorised photography, recording or filming is permitted at David’s Tent. Attendees consent to being photographed, filmed and recorded without compensation. These images and videos may be used by David’s Tent for any purpose throughout the world. David’s Tent retains the copyright of all recordings, photographs and videos. When in the main tent, if you do not wish to be photographed or filmed, please remain in the ‘No Photo Zone’.

During the event loud music and lighting will be used in the main tent. All attendees should take care their own health and safety precautions for this as necessary. We strongly advise you to use ears defenders.

7. ACCESSIBILITY

If you have accessibility questions relating to our event, please email us at info@davidstent.net for further details. Disabled attendees should be aware that we have a Disabled camp site in the main arena. This area is kept solely for wheelchair users. Power will be available for wheelchair charging only. If you require power for other reasons, please email info@davidstent.net or purchase an electric hook-up on our website. 8. CANCELLATIONS, CHANGES, REFUNDS

Due to our event licence, every attendee needs to have a valid event ticket. In the unlikely event of the event being cancelled by the organisers, the cancellation details will be posted on our website. If the event is cancelled by the organisers, ticket holders will be able to claim for a refund on the face value of their ticket (excluding admin fees). David’s Tent does not have any liability to refund any other costs besides the face value of the ticket.

If necessary, rather than cancelling the event we will aim to delay the event to a later date. In which case, all tickets will be transferred to the new event at the same equivalent ticket levels. All ticket holders will be informed of any delay to the event at least 90 days in advance.

9. EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR CONTROL (FORCE MAJEURE)

We will not be liable for cancellations or delays where that cancellation or delay results from any cause that is beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to: power failure, riots and other civil unrest, fire, explosion, flood, storms, earthquakes, Royal mourning, national mourning, acts of terrorism (threatened or actual), acts of war, epidemics or other natural disaster, or any other event that is beyond our reasonable control.

10. HOW WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION (DATA PROTECTION)

All personal data collected by us will be stored and processed according to the latest General Data Protection Regulations. We will not pass on your personal information to any third parties. If you have any further questions about your personal data, please contact info@davidstent.net

11. LIABILITY

All attendees are responsible for their own safety and personal property at all times. David’s tent isn’t liable for any injury or damage to any person or personal property, unless damage is caused by negligence or willful malicious acts by the organisers.

12. LAW & JURISDICTION

These Terms & Conditions and any disputes in connection with them shall be governed by English law. All parties agree that the Courts of England have jurisdiction to settle any dispute in connection with this agreement. If any single clause of this agreement is found to be invalid by the Courts of England, the validity of the remaining clauses in this agreement will not be affected.

PLEASE NOTE: Showers will be turned off at 09:00 on MONDAY.  The campsite hosts are on duty from 08:00–23:00 for the duration of the event. All campers must pre-pay the campsite fee, please see Registration if you have not done this, as you will need the  correct wrist band to gain access to the campsite. 

CARAVANS 

All Caravans are to be pitched in the designated area with the  hitch facing out to the fire lane.

LOST PROPERTY
Lost property point is in Registration and at the Information  point inside the Big Top. PLEASE NOTE: Anything not collected  by the end of the event, will be given to local charities.
