What will the programme consist of?

As the heart of David’s Tent is worship, the programme involves 24/7 non-stop worship.  We also have all day intercession, afternoon break-out sessions and opportunities for exploring creativity and building community in the Marketplace Tent. A limited programme for Children’s Ministry is provided within the Children’s Tent and for Youth in the Youth area.

What time does the event start and end?

Our first session starts on Friday, 25 August 2017 at 2pm.

The event ends on Monday, 28 August 2017 at 1pm.

When can I arrive?

The gate and car park opens at 11am on Friday, 25 August 2017.

What are my transport / parking options?

Venue address is: Wiston Park, Steyning, West Sussex, BN44 3DZ.  Please note there is no access to David’s Tent via Mouse Lane in Steyning.

Free parking on site.  Please check our website for various transport options, car, train, shuttle bus from station, etc.  The closest train station is Shoreham-by-Sea.

Accessibility / Disabilities

Reserved parking is available for people with disabilities.  We have wheelchair access to the main tents and other standard necessities.  Please note, this event is held in a field.  If you require disabled parking or have accessibility related queries please email info@davidstent.net

How will camping work at David’s Tent?

You may purchase a pre-erected Rent-a-Tent or Glamping Tent via our website.  For standard camping, please provide your own tent.  We will not have spares onsite.  Motor homes and caravans are welcome.  If you require an electric hook-up, please purchase this via our website.

Are there shower and toilet facilities

Yes, showers and toilets are available for campers in the campsite.  Portaloo facilities are provided throughout the site, including disability access toilets for those not camping.

Will there be caterers on site?

Yes, we have a selection of caterers onsite throughout the event selling hot meals.  You are welcome to bring your own food and camping stove.  We will have a Cash Back service for you at the Registration Tent for a fee of £1.50 per transaction.

What is the ticket refund policy?

Ticket purchases are non-refundable. If the event is cancelled the value of the ticket will be refunded, excluding the booking fee.

Is my registration / ticket transferrable?

Yes, you can transfer your ticket, by logging in to your ticketbooth account and updating the details.  Ticket purchases are non-refundable.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

To avoid delays and queuing, it’s strongly advised you bring a printed or electronic copy of your ticket with you, ready to be scanned.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

No glass products are allowed.

No disposable BBQs or rogue bonfires are allowed on the site.  Only genuine BBQs with legs and covers (suspended off the ground) are permitted.  There will be designated camp fires around the site for toasting marshmallows, guitar playing and sipping tea!

Are animals allowed in?

NO pets allowed. Only guide dogs are permitted for anyone who is registered blind.

What should I bring with me?

Here is a basic check list for packing:

  • Your tent, its poles, guide ropes and pegs
  • Sleeping bag
  • Extra blankets, it get pretty chilly in the evenings
  • Water bottle, we will have marked Taps on site for you to refill it
  • Pillow
  • Torch, Head lamp
  • Comfy shoes, you will be walking a lot in a field
  • Shampoo, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Soap
  • Wellies, its NOT going to rain, but just in case
  • Warm jackets, the evenings get rather chilly
