5-11

This year at David’s Tent, our 5–11s group will be diving into a familiar and exciting theme of WORSHIP! 

Together, we’ll explore what it really means and looks like to worship God—with our hearts, our voices, our creativity, and our whole lives.

Morning plan

The morning is divided into two parts:

Part One: We'll kick things off all together with some fun games, worship, and some teaching time.

Part Two: After that, the children will get to explore different activity zones—each offering a unique way to worship. They’ll have the freedom to choose how they want to connect and express their faith!

  • Saturday Morning | Worship is Wonder
    In this session, we’ll discover the why behind worship.
    Using the incredible imagery in Revelation 5, we’ll explore how worship in heaven reveals God’s greatness—and how our worship is a response to how amazing He is. We'll each make our own crowns, then lay them down as an act of worship to King Jesus—just like the elders in heaven!

    Sunday Morning | Worship is from Our Hearts
    In this session, we’ll discover the how behind worship.

    Worship isn’t about looking good or putting on a show—it’s all about giving our whole hearts to God.
    We’ll look at the story of King David, who danced with all his might before the Lord, even when others didn’t like it. We'll create our own praise ribbons and flags to express our joy and worship.

  • Morning Zones | Choose Your Own Adventure!

    After our worship sessions, children will get to enjoy a mix of different activity zones:

    • Creative Zone – A space for creatives!

    • Chill Zone – A quieter space to reflect and go a bit deeper

    • Adventure Zone – Go out and about “treasure hunting” - asking God who He wants us to pray for!

    • Game Zone – A space to be active with games and sports

  • Family Fun & Games (Grass area outside Kids Tent)

    Join us each afternoon, including Friday afternoon, for Family Games!
    Get ready for group fun with parachute games, active challenges, and moments designed for families to enjoy together.

  • Whole Body Worship (Main Tent)

    Come and gather with us in the main tent as all generations join together in worship! We'll sing, dance, and celebrate as one big family. It’s also a special time to hear and share stories from the morning sessions—a beautiful way to reflect and connect.

  • As the sun sets, we’ll gather around Firepits to toast marshmallows, connect, share stories, and make new friends.
